We offer a variety of gymnastic programs including KinderGym, Recreational (WAG & MAG), Social, and WAG Competitive classes, catering to beginners through to aspiring elite gymnasts. All our programs are delivered by fully accredited coaches and our club is proudly affiliated with Gymnastics Queensland and Gymnastics Australia, ensuring the highest standards of programming and coaching.
Kindergym
We promote the KinderGym philosophy to provide positive movement experiences that influence children’s outlook on physical activity for life.
Our KinderGym classes are structured to foster the development of fundamental skills through play.
Classes are 45 minutes in duration and include a welcome, warm-up, demonstration, free exploration, group activity and goodbye. Our accredited KinderGym Coordinator plans circuits using all gymnastics apparatus and all six Dominant Movement Patterns (static, landings, spring, swing, rotation and locomotion). Circuits are themed and repeated over a fortnight to promote focus, mastery and confidence through repetition and predictability, while varied themes keep children engaged.
Terms align with the public school system, and class placement is based on the child’s age as of June 30 in the year of enrolment.
Our Classes:
- Jellyfish – Ages 1.5-2.5 years (Parent Assisted – Free exploration)
- Starfish – Ages 2.5-3.5 years (Parent Assisted)
- Sea Turtles – Ages 3.5-4.5 years (Non-Parent Assisted)

WAG Recreational Gymnastics Programs
We offer Recreational Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) classes in a fun, supportive and structured environment.
Our WAG Recreational program follows a progressive “Steps” pathway, with age- and ability-based classes designed to develop fundamental gymnastics skills.
Progression is guided by ongoing in-class coach assessments each term. Each Step has specific skill criteria, and gymnasts may remain in a class across multiple terms to allow for safe development, mastery and confidence.

Invite Only WAG Recreational Gymnastics Programs
We offer an invite-only WAG Recreational Invitational pathway for advanced recreational gymnasts who demonstrate strong skill development, commitment and enthusiasm for Women’s Artistic Gymnastics.

Our Social Gymnastics program is designed for teens and adults. It is for those who want to stay active, build skills, and enjoy gymnastics. Gymnasts can relax and equally enjoy the inclusive and social environment.
Classes cater to a wide range of ages, abilities and experience levels. They are perfect for those returning to the sport or transitioning from structured programs. Or simply looking for a fun and flexible way to keep moving.
Our Classes:
Teen Gym – Age 13+ years

WAG Competitive Program
We offer a WAG (Women’s Artistic Gymnastics) Competitive program at Yeppoon Gymnastics & Movement Centre. Our program follows the Australian Levels Program (ALP) through Gymnastics Australia. Classes are by invite only.
If you are transferring from another club and have a gymnast who has previously been involved in competitive gymnastics – they will be placed in their badged level for a trial session. Our coaches will determine the most appropriate class placement.
